Job Description

This is a role to settle into for the long term: a permanent, live-out nanny post with an established family in Ealing, West London, offering trusted sole-charge responsibility and a genuine place in the daily lives of two young children. It will suit an experienced career nanny who values stability, real responsibility and a warm family home. Day to day, the role follows a gentle-parenting ethos supported by a strong, structured routine and clear, respectful boundaries. The working week runs Monday- Friday, with shorter hours in term time and longer days during the school holidays. A car is provided for the school and club runs. Job Specification • Provide warm, sole-charge care for a six-year-old and a three-year-old across a structured daily routine. • Manage the morning routine from a 7am start, including breakfast and getting the children ready for school and nursery. • Complete school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, driving the provided automatic car for journeys of roughly 15 minutes. • Drive one child to and from school and clubs, sharing these runs with the family. • Plan and support age-appropriate after-school activities and clubs close to home. • Prepare healthy, nutritious meals which includes breakfast and dinner in term time, plus lunch during school holidays. • Take care of the children’s laundry and keep their areas tidy and well-ordered. • Maintain the family’s routine and boundaries consistently, supporting the children’s development and growing independence. Candidate Specification • Proven nanny experience with children of similar ages, ideally spanning early years and school-age care. • Confident sole-charge experience and the ability to run a calm, well-structured day. • A confident driver who is comfortable driving in London; an automatic car is provided. • Able to prepare healthy, home-cooked meals for young children. • Warm, present and dedicated, with the energy to keep active children busy and take them out and about. • Professional, adaptable and sociable, with a positive and respectful approach. • Excellent, checkable references.
