FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SCHEDULER / COORDINATOR £32,000 - £34,000 Basildon New Offices Experienced in commercial property maintenance and looking for your next step? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing facilities maintenance company based in Basildon, working with a team that manages planned and reactive maintenance for a portfolio of long-standing commercial clients and properties. Following further contract wins and continued growth, they have moved into new offices and are now looking to add an experienced Facilities Maintenance Scheduler / Coordinator to the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the world of commercial buildings and facilities maintenance and enjoys managing client requirements, coordinating engineers and keeping a portfolio of properties running smoothly. THE ROLE Working closely with the Helpdesk Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance requirements across your client account or portfolio. You'll be involved in making sure jobs are managed correctly from start to finish, with a strong focus on delivering a great service to your commercial clients. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties • Coordinating engineers, contractors and appointments • Opening, booking and closing jobs through client portals and CAFM/job management systems • Managing outstanding and ongoing maintenance jobs • Updating clients and keeping them informed of progress • Arranging further works and following jobs through to completion • Liaising with engineers, contractors, suppliers and client contacts • Ensuring all job information and processes are kept accurate and up to date • Building strong working relationships with your clients and understanding their individual requirements • Supporting the Helpdesk Manager and wider team with the smooth running of the account ABOUT YOU We're l
