Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience Accommodation: Live-in accommodation provided, with bills included Benefits: 25 days' annual leave, pension scheme and private healthcare Location: Central London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with alternate Saturday mornings and participation in an out of hours rota The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Live-In Area Supervisor to support the day-to-day management of a high-quality residential property portfolio in Central London. This is a varied, hands-on position combining property inspections, resident support, contractor management, building safety and emergency response. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider property management team to ensure buildings are well maintained, safe and delivering a high standard of service to residents and occupiers. The position would suit someone with previous residential property or estate experience who enjoys being visible across a portfolio and taking ownership of day-to-day operational matters. Key Responsibilities Provide a professional and responsive service to residents, occupiers and visitors. Maintain a strong working knowledge of the properties within the allocated portfolio. Respond to day-to-day resident queries, maintenance issues and emergency situations. Carry out regular inspections of residential buildings, communal areas and vacant properties. Identify and report maintenance, health & safety, security and compliance concerns. Carry out vacant property checks and meter readings where required. Monitor general building standards and ensure issues are escalated appropriately. Coordinate contractor access and oversee contractors attending properties. Carry out quality checks on works and review relevant permits, risk assessments and method statements where required. Support the monitoring of fire safety measures, including communal areas, fire doors and alarm testing.
