Wembley, London Hybrid Working Immediate Start Ongoing Temporary Assignment £21.41 per hour PAYE / £28.19 per hour Umbrella Basic DBS Check Required An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Officer to join a busy Property Services team within a well-established London Local Authority based in Wembley. This is an ongoing temporary position offering hybrid working and an immediate start for the right candidate. The Role You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of property investment, repairs, servicing and compliance programmes, ensuring high-quality administrative and contract support across the Property Services function. Key responsibilities include: Providing a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to support the Property Services Team. Maintaining accurate asset management data and records to support repairs, investment and cyclical maintenance programmes. Supporting customer and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure effective service delivery. Monitoring performance and expenditure and maintaining comprehensive records and documentation. Managing documentation and legal preparations required for tenancy and leasehold enforcement actions. Coordinating the full forced entry process for gas safety inspections and planned works in accordance with housing legislation. Liaising with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure successful programme delivery. Preparing reports, performance information and correspondence as required. Essential Requirements Knowledge & Qualifications Knowledge of project administration. Understanding of landlord gas safety obligations and statutory compliance requirements. Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance. Understanding of landlord property access requirements and enforcement procedures.
