Teacher of Food Technology

The Cowplain School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Food Technology; an interest in teaching GCSE textiles would also be an advantage. Our Food and Cookery course is very popular with 50+ students selecting it from Year 9. You would also teach Technology to KS3 students, which focuses on a range of projects which reflect the specialisms of Engineering, Textiles, Graphics and Food. We are extremely ambitious for our students and have a strong vision to ensure that the life-chances of every young person are enhanced by quality teaching, leading to excellent outcomes. Having secured a ‘Good’ OFSTED in July 2024 we are now looking for staff who can deliver excellence in technology. Therefore, it is vital that you have the skills to form effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and have the passion and drive to ensure our students receive the best possible learning opportunities.
