Description As a complex care coordinator , you will be planning and rostering care staff into shifts and ensure that the care workers and nurses that are responsible for delivering care and support on a day-to-day basis attend their shifts as planned. About the role The care coordinator will organise rotas a month in advance for the complex care clients. Building and developing strong relationships with staff members (carers and nurses) Building and developing strong relationships with clients Obtaining staff availability Communicate with staff and clients in a respectful, professional, and friendly manner. On call responsibility About you You will have strong communication skills both over the phone and via written communication. You will be a problem solver, quick thinker and solution driven. You will have previous coordination experience either in complex care or domiciliary care. You will have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence. What’s on offer for the Complex Care Coordinator? Salary of £30,000 Currently the hours are Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm, plus on call is 1 in 5 weekends (this could reduce in time) and 1 evening / morning per week (1700 – 2300/0600 – 0900). However, this may change to a different schedule. The role is office based (outskirts of Whitstable), with occasional travel in Kent to meet clients / families. 25 days AL plus the bank holiday and a day off on your birthday. Enhanced sick pay.
