Cleaner (Afternoons) - Required to start as soon as possible 12.5 Hours per week – Term Time Grade 1 £25949 (Actual Salary £7505) An opportunity has arisen for a cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard. Job overview As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management. Job requirements • Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties; • Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school; • Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people and; • Working five days per week, 3.00pm – 5.30pm, you will undertake cleaning duties in line with Health and Safety regulations. Previous experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
