Baby Nanny – Paris 19th / Paris 17th Location: Paris 19th initially, relocating to Paris 17th (West Paris) Days: 2 days per week – Friday + one other weekday Hours: 8:00am – 7:00pm Salary: Open to negotiation, dependent on experience Start: ASAP A warm and welcoming family based in Paris is seeking an experienced, kind and nurturing Baby Nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby. The family are currently living in Paris 19th but are planning to relocate to Paris 17th in the near future. The successful nanny should therefore be comfortable travelling to both locations during the transition. The role will initially be working alongside Mum, who is currently at home, before becoming increasingly independent as Mum returns to work in January. The Role The nanny will have a strong focus on the baby's day-to-day care, development and wellbeing. Duties will include: Providing attentive, loving and responsive care for the baby Feeding and preparing bottles as required Nappy changing and maintaining the baby's hygiene Settling and putting the baby down for naps Establishing and maintaining age-appropriate routines Supporting the baby's development through age-appropriate play and activities Understanding and encouraging key developmental milestones Taking the baby out for walks and activities when appropriate Managing baby's laundry and keeping nursery and baby areas organised Preparing simple food as the baby grows and begins weaning Keeping parents informed about baby's routine, development and general wellbeing Adapting the care and routine as the baby grows and their needs change This is a child-focused position, and the family are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with babies and takes pride in providing calm, attentive and nurturing care. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Have previous professional experience working as a nanny, with strong baby experience essential Have a good understanding of infant development and developmental milestones Be warm, kind, gentle and naturally nurturing Be reliable, responsible and committed Have a genuine love of children Be confident caring for a young baby independently Hold Pediatric First Aid Have a French police background check or be willing to obtain one Be comfortable travelling between Paris 19th and Paris 17th Speak French - English is a plus Be professional, discreet and respectful of family life Be happy for the role to evolve as the baby grows and their needs change The family are looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their baby's life, providing consistent, loving and developmentally appropriate care. Salary is open to negotiation and will depend on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
