Fire and Security Installation Engineer

Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer Location: Leicester Length: 2 weeks Rate: £220 per day Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in Leicester looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers. Responsibilities: * Install fire alarm systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant British Standards. * Carry out the installation of CCTV systems, including camera positioning, cabling, and DVR/NVR setup. * Install access control systems, including door controllers, readers, and associated hardware. * Fit and commission intruder alarm systems to the required standard. * Work safely on site, adhering to all health and safety requirements and site-specific rules. * Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure installations are completed on time and to a high standard. Experience and Certifications required: * Minimum 2 years' experience in the installation of fire and security systems. * Proven experience working with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. * Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics. * Full UK driving licence. * ECS/CSCS card (required). * FIA qualification (desirable).
