Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer Location: Oxford Rate: £220 per day Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in the Oxford area looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire detection and alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, working to the highest standards of safety and compliance. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers. Responsibilities: * Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation of Morley fire alarm panels to specification. * Install Apollo smoke detectors, call points, and associated detection devices throughout site. * Read and work from technical drawings and wiring schematics to ensure accurate installation. * Commission and test installed fire alarm systems to confirm correct operation. * Liaise with site management and other trades to coordinate installation activities. * Ensure all work is completed in line with BS 5839 standards and current health and safety requirements. Experience and Certifications required: * Proven experience as a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years in the trade. * Hands-on experience installing and wiring Morley fire alarm panels. * Practical knowledge of Apollo detection devices including smoke heads and call points. * Full UK driving licence, as the role requires travel to sites across the Oxford area. * ECS Card and DBS Certificate required. * IPAF licence required. * FIA Diploma or equivalent fire alarm installation qualification (desirable).
