Your duties will include: Purchase ledger and supplier management Bank reconciliations Credit control support Accruals and prepayments Assisting with monthly management accounts Budget monitoring and reporting Month-end activities Project accounting support Financial analysis and reporting Supporting finance process improvements and system enhancements This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to bridge the gap between an Accounts Assistant role and a more commercial Assistant Accountant position. About You You'll ideally have: AAT Level 4 or be actively studying towards it Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role Strong reconciliation and purchase ledger experience Knowledge of accruals and prepayments Good Excel skills Strong attention to detail A proactive attitude and desire to learn Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, evolving business Experience within engineering, manufacturing, project-based businesses or management accounts support would be advantageous but is not essential.
