Quantity Surveyor London £60,000 £70,000 Permanent Full Time An established UK construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its London team, working across a portfolio of high-value construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused QS who enjoys taking responsibility for the financial performance of projects and wants to develop their career within a well-established contractor offering long-term progression. The Role Working closely with the commercial and operational teams, you will be involved throughout the commercial lifecycle of projects, with responsibilities including: Preparation and analysis of project budgets Procurement and commercial management of the supply chain Preparation of subcontract order documentation Assessment and certification of subcontractor interim payments Preparation of interim valuations and final account submissions Management and valuation of variations Supporting Extension of Time claims and Loss & Expense submissions Identification and management of commercial risks Assisting with monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reporting Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams Ensuring effective communication between commercial and operational site teams About You We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can demonstrate: A relevant degree-level qualification Previous experience within the construction industry Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract Strong commercial awareness Experience managing subcontractors and project costs Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong organisational and problem-solving ability Confidence working to deadlines in a project environment Ability to travel to sites when required What s on Offer? £60,000 £70,000
