Learning Support Assistants Level 2 Start date: As soon as possible Contract: Temporary until the end of this academic year Hours: 8.15am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday (32.5 hours) term time, plus five inset days Location: Inglehurst Infant School Closing Date: Monday 12th October by 9am Interviews: Friday 19th October We are looking for a caring, flexible and committed Learning Support Assistant (Level 2) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong early years experience who is passionate about supporting young children with a range of needs. You may work across Nursery to Year 2, depending on need, which may include: · supporting pupils in class · working 1:1 · contributing to learning in our bespoke SEND classroom We are seeking people who: · hold a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification (essential for working in Nursery) · understand how young children learn and how to move learning on · have experience of supporting children with SEND (e.g. autism, speech & language needs, sensory needs) · can adapt quickly and work flexibly as pupil needs change · are warm, patient and resilient · are committed to ongoing CPD and reflective practice · communicate well with staff, parents and professionals · use initiative and be proactive in supporting children’s learning In return, we offer: · a supportive, inclusive school community · opportunities for high-quality training · a chance to make a real difference to children’s early learning and development If you are passionate about early years, inclusion and helping every child thrive, we would love to hear from you.
