Teaching ICT and Computing at BISU You will join a team of 50 international and Ukrainian teachers, teaching up to 200 students aged 11–18 in classes of around 10–15 students. During term time (following the English school calendar), you will teach approximately 26 hours per week, with the remainder of your 40-hour working week allocated to planning, preparation, assessment (PPA) and meetings. The school day runs from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. You will teach ICT and Computing across the Cambridge Pathway from Key Stage 3 to A Level. We encourage creativity and professional autonomy, enabling teachers to deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop computational thinking, problem-solving and design skills through progressive teaching approaches. Person Specification Applicants should have: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject, plus a recognised teaching qualification At least two years' successful experience teaching ICT and Computing at secondary level Experience of online and hybrid teaching Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE, A Level and ideally the IB Diploma Programme A commitment to inquiry-based, practical and student-centred learning Excellent collaboration and communication skills within an international environment High levels of professionalism, autonomy and commitment to continuous professional development Experience in UK schools or British international schools is highly desirable. Eligibility Requirements Due to organisational compliance requirements, applicants with recent employment history in the Russian Federation are not eligible for this position.
