Nursery Assistant (EYFS Level 2)

The Governors of the Queens’ Federation are seeking to appoint a temporary full time L2 EYFS Nursery Assistant to work in the 2 year old room at Queen Emma Nursery. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to work as a part of our dedicated Nursery team. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, have the ability to work as part of a team and develop positive and effective relationships with colleagues, children and their parents. Essential: Patience, calmness, enthusiasm, flexibility, initiative and empathy Level 2 Early Years qualification Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting Knowledge of EYFS Knowledge of safeguarding procedures Strong communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to build positive relationships with children and families Reliable, caring and professional attitude Understanding of inclusion and diversity Experience of observations and assessments Ability to plan engaging activities Desirable: Level 3 Early Years qualification Paediatric First Aid qualification
