Our Lady Of Lourdes is a welcoming and vibrant Catholic primary school, serving a diverse community of 125 pupils. We are proud of our strong sense of community and our commitment to continuous school improvement. Following our recent Ofsted report, which highlighted key areas for development, we are on a clear improvement journey and are looking for a teacher who is passionate about making a real difference. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic class teacher to join our supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit community that values professional development, collaboration, and ambition. This post is required from 1st Jan 2027 (or as soon as possible after that date) and is for a fixed term until 31st August 2027 – there may be a possibility to extend, depending on a future staffing and budget review. We are looking for someone special who: • Is exciting and innovative in the classroom and who has high expectations for all • Champions all children • Is eager to play an active role in our improvement journey • Can communicate and achieve high expectations for pupils in personal achievement and behaviour • Is knowledgeable and reflective of current educational practice and national expectations and can drive standards. • Has an understanding and passion for developing and delivering continuous provision • Is able to motivate and inspire others, and work collaboratively with colleagues. • Will respect and support our Catholic ethos (you do not need to be Catholic to apply) • Is an excellent communicator with a kind, supportive and calm disposition. • Is reflective and keen to grasp opportunities for further self-improvement.
