CLEOBURY MORTIMER PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER – SEND HUB Job Title: Teacher (SEND Hub) Job Location: Cleobury Mortimer Primary School Hours: Permanent, full-time Salary: MPR/UPR (dependent on experience) Closing Date: 9.00 am Wednesday 14th October 2026 Interviews: Wednesday 21st October 2026 Start Date: 1st January 2027 Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children with complex needs? About the role: We are seeking an inspirational, nurturing and highly motivated teacher to join our specialist SEND Hub provision. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small group of pupils with complex SEND needs, delivering highly personalised learning and supporting children to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. About you: The role requires the successful candidate to demonstrate: High-quality teaching that is carefully adapted to meet a range of individual and complex SEND needs. • The ability to create a calm, nurturing and structured learning environment where pupils feel safe, valued and able to succeed. • Strong behaviour support strategies and an understanding of inclusive and restorative approaches. • Effective assessment and monitoring of pupil progress. • Experience of working collaboratively with teaching assistants and multidisciplinary professionals. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with pupils, families and external agencies. • A commitment to supporting pupils’ social, emotional and mental health needs alongside their academic development. • A reflective approach to professional learning and continuous improvement. • A strong understanding of safeguarding, embedding a culture of vigilance and acting consistently to keep all pupils safe. • Previous experience of working within a specialist provision, resource base or specialist school is desirable.
