We are recruiting a School Clerk at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 32.50 hours Working Weeks TTO: 39 Contract Type: Part Time, Permanent and Term Time Only Location: Maesycwmmer Primary School We pay an attractive salary of £22,100 - £23,193 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are looking for a friendly, organised and highly motivated School Clerk to become an important part of our school team. The successful candidate will provide efficient administrative support to the Headteacher, staff and Governing Body, helping to ensure the smooth and effective running of the school. We are seeking someone who is approachable, reliable, well organised and able to communicate confidently with pupils, families, staff and governors. Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. Previous experience in a school or administrative setting would be an advantage. Interviews will be held on 16th October 2026. For the role, we ask that you have: NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline. Very good numeracy/literacy skills and ICT skills. Experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems.
