The Role As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could be working across a variety of educational settings, supporting pupils with a range of needs. Your responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning Supporting children with SEND and additional needs Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence Supporting pupils with their behaviour and emotional wellbeing Building positive relationships with pupils and staff Adapting quickly to different schools, classrooms and pupil needs What We're Looking For We are keen to hear from candidates who: Have experience working with children or young people Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role Are patient, enthusiastic and adaptable Can build positive relationships with pupils Are confident working as part of a team Have a genuine passion for supporting children and their education Experience working in a school is beneficial, but we also welcome candidates with relevant experience in SEND, childcare, care, youth work or similar environments.
