The Role As a Town Planner, you'll be involved in managing planning projects from initial appraisal through to securing planning permission, providing expert advice to a broad client base. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and supporting documentation. Providing strategic planning advice to private and public sector clients. Undertaking site appraisals and planning due diligence. Liaising with local planning authorities, consultees and key stakeholders. Preparing planning statements and representations. Monitoring changes in planning legislation and local planning policy. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of professional service. About You To be considered, you'll ideally have: A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline. MRTPI status or be working towards chartership. Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or developer. A sound understanding of the UK planning system and planning policy.
