Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm) Location: Paddock Wood Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm (25 hours per week) Opportunity: Temporary position with the potential to become a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week Brook Street is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly warehouse team based in Paddock Wood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career move, with the potential to progress into a permanent full-time position following a successful temporary period. Key Responsibilities: Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch Loading and unloading deliveries Safely handling and moving heavy engineered stone products Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties Undertaking local and nationwide deliveries when required Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently About You: Reliable, hardworking and punctual Comfortable carrying out physical warehouse duties and manual handling Hold a full, clean UK driving licence Confident driving a long-wheelbase vehicle Friendly and professional when dealing with customers Able to work effectively as part of a small team Forklift experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate The Opportunity: This role is ideal for someone looking to establish themselves within a growing business and develop a long-term career.
