Subject Leader - Philosophy, Religion and Ethics – Llanishen High School – TLR 2A Maternity Cover – commencing March 2027 “We believe that all can achieve” Credwn y gall pawb yn lwyddo” We are an oversubscribed 11-18 community comprehensive school in north Cardiff of over 1,700 pupils. The school has come on an exciting journey and is a very vibrant and rewarding place to teach. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who aspires to be an enthusiastic and outstanding leader to direct and inspire the team for the duration of the maternity leave of the post holder. The successful candidate would need to have experience of teaching PRE at KS4 and 5 and leading the PRE team of 5 experienced staff who each hold other TLR positions within the school. This position is a great opportunity to shape the teaching and learning in the department in line with the school’s vision for developing ethical, ambitious, informed pupils ready for the next stage in their life. Outcomes at Key stage 4 and recruitment into key stage 5 are very strong. We have year groups of 300+ with enquiring minds. if you have enthusiasm, ambition and talent, then this is the role for you.
