Job Description

We are currently representing a well-established, award-winning architectural practice who are continuing to expand with the opening of their new Central Birmingham office. They are now looking for an ambitious Associate Architect to join the growing team of 4 and play a key role in developing and driving the Birmingham studio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect who is looking to step up into an Associate-level position, or an existing Associate looking for greater responsibility and the opportunity to help shape and lead a growing regional office. The successful individual will work closely with the Birmingham Partner while taking a leading role within the day-to-day running of the office, project delivery, team leadership and business development. The practice works across a diverse range of sectors, with projects including Education, Commercial, Science, Healthcare, Residential and Heritage, ranging from smaller schemes through to multi-million-pound developments. The successful individual will have the opportunity to work across a varied project portfolio, taking projects through the RIBA stages from inception through to completion. The role will combine active project running with team leadership and client development. The successful Associate Architect will be expected to build relationships within the Birmingham and wider West Midlands market, support business development and help establish the continued growth of the new office.
