Numeracy Intervention Tutor (Key Stage 3 Maths) – 37 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year) We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Numeracy Intervention Tutor to support Key Stage 3 students in developing confidence and achievement in Mathematics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for young learners through targeted intervention and small-group support. Role Overview • Deliver numeracy intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students • Support pupils who require additional help in Maths • Work closely with the Numeracy Coordinator and Maths department to identify learning gaps • Build students’ confidence, engagement and problem-solving skills • Monitor and report on student progress The ideal candidate will: • Have experience supporting or teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 • Be confident working with small groups and individual students • Be patient, encouraging and able to motivate learners • Have strong communication and organisational skills • Have sound knowledge of the National Numeracy Tests • Hold relevant qualifications or experience in education/support work Grade 5 SCP 10 – 13 Full time equivalent £28,608
