Electrical Estimator Building Services East London £65,000 £75,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Bonus Term Contracts & Design & Build Tenders to £1m Tender Ownership Established Client Base An established Electrical & Security Building Services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its successful Pre-Construction team in East London. The business has built a strong reputation across London and the wider South East, working with longstanding clients across commercial buildings, healthcare, education, universities, research facilities, public-sector environments and other specialist premises. Its estimating workload offers genuine variety. Alongside established term-contract work and repeat-client opportunities, the team prices fully specified and Design & Build projects, with electrical tender values ranging from smaller works through to approximately £1 million. For somebody who enjoys being close to their tenders rather than becoming one small part of a large corporate estimating department, this is a particularly attractive opportunity. You will have direct access to senior decision-makers, work closely with experienced Project Managers and take genuine ownership of opportunities from initial enquiry through to submission and successful project handover. The business also provides a supportive, close-knit environment where experienced people are trusted to make decisions, contribute ideas and help shape the continued development of the estimating function. The Opportunity As Electrical Estimator, you will take responsibility for producing accurate, commercially competitive electrical tenders across a varied portfolio of Building Services projects. Your role will include: Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Producing detailed electrical take-offs and cost estimates Quantifying labour, materials, plant and subcontract requirements Obtaining and evaluating supplier, wholesaler
