Nanny

A professional and highly educated Nanny/Governess sought by Greek family to take care of their 2½ year old child. This is a long-term appointment for a warm, engaging and accomplished candidate who will provide excellent day-to-day care alongside a stimulating, English-speaking environment. The family is particularly keen to find someone with a strong educational background, ideally holding a university degree in Education or Early Childhood together with excellent experience caring for children of this age. At 2½, the emphasis will very much be on learning through play and encouraging the child's natural curiosity and development. The Nanny/Governess should enjoy introducing books and stories, conversation and language, music, creative activities, outings and age-appropriate educational play, while establishing a happy and consistent daily routine. A native English speaker is essential, as is a warm, calm and discreet manner. The successful candidate should be polished and professional, yet genuinely playful and engaging with a young child and confident working within a private household. The family travels both within Greece and internationally, and the Nanny/Governess will accompany them during holidays and longer stays abroad. Candidates should therefore be experienced travellers and comfortable adapting to different locations and routines. The position can be offered on either a live-in or live-out basis. For a live-out candidate relocating to the area, the family is happy to provide suitable separate accommodation close to their home.
