Castle Wood is a special school in Coventry welcoming children with a diverse range of different learning needs. Being a broad-spectrum school, we welcome candidates who are good problem solvers and able to think “outside the box” when it comes to supporting our pupil’s complex learning needs. The ideal candidates will be resilient and able to accept that there will be challenges on a daily basis but that these can be overcome with resilience and a can-do approach. Additionally, candidates will need to accept that Castle Wood children do not always make progress in the same way and therefore small steps must be celebrated by student and teacher alike.
