As an Audit Assistant Manager, based in Dorking, you'll oversee audits from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality results that meet professional standards. This role is crucial in supporting the accounting and finance team within the professional services industry. Client Details Our client is a well established and independent accountancy practice. They have been established over many years and they service an enviable client base. Description Lead and manage audit assignments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations. Review audit work and provide constructive feedback to team members. Identify and communicate risk areas to clients and provide recommendations for improvement. Support the team in technical accounting and auditing matters. Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and expectations. Assist in the training and development of junior team members. Ensure proper documentation and reporting throughout the audit process. Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive client service. Profile A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have: Professional qualifications in accounting (ACA, ACCA). Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting. Proven experience in managing audit assignments from start to finish. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. Job Offer Salary ranging from £50,000 to £57,000, dependent on the level of experience. Permanent position within the accountancy industry.
