Mechanical Estimator Building Services Hampshire £70,000 £80,000 + Bonus & Benefits Fast-Track Commercial Fit-Out Projects to £6m+ Established Pre-Construction Team Career Progression A successful and highly-respected Mechanical Building Services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its established Pre-Construction team in Hampshire. The business delivers high-quality mechanical installations across commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out and refurbishment, together with healthcare, education, leisure and specialist environments. Typical mechanical project values sit around £1 million to £4 million, with larger schemes extending beyond £6 million, providing the successful candidate with a strong mix of technically challenging and commercially significant tenders. This is an opportunity to join a contractor with a genuinely established in-house Pre-Construction capability incorporating estimating, design, CAD and BIM. Rather than operating as an isolated estimator, you will work alongside experienced technical and delivery colleagues while retaining genuine ownership of your tenders from initial enquiry through negotiation and successful handover. For somebody already operating at an experienced level, the attraction is straightforward: substantial projects, a strong support structure, autonomy over your work and the opportunity to continue developing within a successful Building Services business. The role is office-based and would particularly suit somebody already living in Hampshire or West Sussex. The Opportunity As Mechanical Estimator, you will take ownership of mechanical tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission, negotiation and project handover.
