Owen Reed is looking for an experienced and dedicated Personal Assistant to support a Family Office, providing comprehensive assistance across personal and executive affairs. Primarily based in the UK, this opportunity would suit a proactive and highly organised professional with experience supporting a Family Office, ultra-high-net-worth individuals or C-level executives. You will manage complex schedules, coordinate travel and act as a trusted point of contact for family members and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate discretion, sound judgement and a resourceful approach, ensuring personal and professional commitments run smoothly. This dynamic role offers scope to develop your career, with the potential to progress into a Chief of Staff position. Key Responsibilities Manage complex diaries, coordinating meetings, appointments and personal commitments. Act as the primary point of contact and gatekeeper for the Family Office, handling communications professionally and discreetly. Remain accessible around the clock to provide remote assistance and occasional out-of-hours support. Organise domestic and international travel, including flights, cars, accommodation and detailed itineraries. Build and maintain strong relationships with family members, business associates, advisers and other key stakeholders. Handle sensitive personal and business information with complete confidentiality. Anticipate potential issues and implement practical solutions. Draft and proofread reports, emails and other correspondence. Plan and coordinate personal events and engagements. Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient management of personal and executive affairs. Skills and Experience A minimum of five years’ experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant. A strong educational background, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred. Experience supporting a Family Office, high-net-worth individuals or C-level executives. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to work effectively with family members and senior stakeholders. Proficiency in Apple devices, including MacBook, iPhone and iPad, alongside Microsoft Office and calendar management tools. A discreet, adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. A loyal, hardworking and resilient character, combining clear thinking with a logical approach to implementing tasks. Flexibility for international travel and out-of-hours availability.
