Legal Secretary **ASAP start** *Two Week Cover!*
About the Role:
As a Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team with administrative and clerical tasks. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation of the firm while providing excellent service to clients.
Start date for this role is Monday 28th September and goes until Friday October 9th. Please only apply if you are available immediately and for the duration of the assignment!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors and legal executives.
- Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision.
- Manage and maintain filing systems, ensuring all documents are organised and easily accessible.
- Assist in managing schedules and appointments, coordinating meetings, and liaising with clients.
- Conduct legal research and gather information as required.
- Handle billing and invoicing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
Our client is looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within the legal field.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software applications.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
