We at Courtney are looking for an experienced and dynamic HLTA to work across our school supporting high-quality interventions for our children. Courtney is a close-knit, caring but highly ambitious school. The school is at an exciting point in its journey. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant your role will involve you assisting with general and targeted support throughout the school. You will be taking on 1:1 sessions and small groups, as well as supporting whole classes. You will be expected to promote and secure high standards of teaching and learning, whilst supporting pupil achievement and progression • KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING Essential • Significant previous experience of working within a Primary School setting. • English and Maths GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Good interpersonal skills. • Strong IT skills • Ability to establish and maintain positive and consistent relationships with parents, carers, children and other professionals. • Willingness to learn new skills and work flexibly with other staff and undertake further professional development. • Understand the need for discretion, tact and confidentiality always. • Have a thorough understanding of child protection systems and procedures and be able to act appropriately. • NVQ level 3 or above. This job is Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30, term time only, including insets. Salary : Hay 8 The applications close on 30th Sept at noon. We will be interviewing candidates the week commencing 5th Oct.
