Key Details: - Location - Istanbul, Turkey. - Contract - Temporary, full-time, for approximately 3 months, while the children settle into their new home. The family will then look to appoint a permanent rota nanny (2 weeks on/2 weeks off, alternating with their existing rota nanny) - this temporary role may suit a candidate interested in transitioning into that long-term position. - Schedule - Monday to Friday approx 10 hours per day with flexibility on times. - Start date - Urgent - ideally in place within approximately 2 weeks, to align with Mum's own relocation from Manchester to Istanbul. - Children - Girl (8) and boy (6), both homeschooled. - Accommodation - Own room and bethroom. A really lovely mother (working in clothing design and property development) is relocating permanently to Istanbul with her children (G8 & B6), with the family's main base there since February this year. Dad is travelling constantly for work so isn’t there the majority of the time. Mum is currently still based in Manchester, UK and is due to relocate permanently to Istanbul in around two weeks. Both parents travel extensively and non-stop for work, so the household needs consistent, dependable care. The family also travels together regularly, including an annual summer trip to California. The family already has a trusted, long-standing rota nanny of 4 years, based in London, who works a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off pattern. This temporary role is being brought in to provide full-time, consistent support while the children settle into life in Istanbul, working alongside the existing rota nanny during this transition period. Key Responsibilities: - Full-time, hands-on care for both children (8 and 6) during the settling-in period - Supporting the children's homeschooling and schoolwork on a day-to-day basis - Proxy parenting when Mum is travelling for work - Working closely and collaboratively with the family's existing rota nanny to ensure smooth handovers and consistency for the children - Helping the children settle into a new home, city and routine with warmth and stability - Flexibility to travel with the family if required (e.g. the family's annual summer trip to California) Candidate Requirements: - Solid, dependable, and experienced with school-age children - Comfortable supporting homeschooling/structured learning - Able to relocate to Istanbul for the 3-month temporary period at short notice - Experience with proxy parenting and working within a household where parents travel frequently - Comfortable working as part of a nanny team, coordinating with another rota nanny for continuity - Open to the possibility of transitioning into a permanent, long-term rota position in Istanbul once established
