Civils Site Supervisor

Civil Site Supervisor Job Purpose: The Civil Site Supervisor shall be responsible for supervising and coordinating all site-based civil engineering activities, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the relevant project specifications, legislation, and company procedures. Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Civil Site Supervisor shall undertake, but not be limited to, the following duties: 1. Health and Safety Compliance Enforce and comply with the Company's Health and Safety Policy and relevant statutory obligations. Following company Integrated Management Systems Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings to ensure all personnel understand site-specific risks and control measures. Verify that all operatives are competent, trained, and authorised to use equipment and undertake assigned tasks. Ensure safe systems of work are implemented, including safe manual handling and proper equipment usage. Monitor plant, tools, and equipment to ensure they are properly maintained, guarded, and used in accordance with safety regulations. Respond promptly to unsafe conditions or incidents, reporting them to the Project Manager and recording them in accordance with company procedures. Carrying out monthly H&S audits Carrying Near Misses as required. 2. Environmental Responsibility Ensure site operations comply with all relevant environmental licenses and permits. Take all practicable steps to minimise the environmental impact of operations and promote sustainable practices. 3. Quality Assurance Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with the approved method statements, risk assessments, and project quality plans. Complete and maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, labor and plant returns, test records, and variation documentation.
