St Margaret’s C of E Primary School are very pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to join our passionate and forward-thinking team as a Learning Mentor on a fixed term contract until 30th April 2027. We are looking for a committed, flexible, reflective Learning Mentor to join our strong team. The role will include: working with individual children, running intervention groups using therapeutic and evidenced based approaches, developing and implementing an inclusive environment across school and liaising with families and other agencies to ensure that all our pupils receive the provision that is right for them. The successful candidate will: • Be calm under pressure, adaptable and enthusiastic • Be compassionate and have a positive attitude • Have good listening skills and to be sensitive to pupils’ individual needs • Have a strong knowledge of SEN • Have experience of a range of learning support needs • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for their children • Is committed to CPD for themselves and others • Thrive on working as part of a committed team • Be an enthusiastic and imaginative individual, who will create a stimulating and vibrant learning environment. St Margaret’s C of E Primary School is a successful, inclusive, popular two form entry primary school with innovative and creative approaches to learning. We have the BASE on-site, a Resource Provision for children with Complex Communication needs, such as Autism.
