Graduates will have the opportunity to obtain experience in a range of specialisms and will obtain the required experience for the APC. Salary: London: £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus / Regions: £27,000 and £1,000 sign on bonus (Please note that some regions will offer a higher salary of £30,000 and £1,500 sign on bonus, dependent on the location and the Cost of Living) Locations: London, Birmingham, Peterborough, Reading, Oxford, Chelmsford About this role London Please note that for the London graduate scheme, you will be on either the Commercial, Residential or Planning & Development pathway. This will be established after the assessment centre, at the interview stage. Our team will then enrol the successful candidates with the RICS on their relevant pathway. As a graduate on the rotation, no day is the same, from visiting a business rates tribunal to inspecting an industrial park at the opposite end of the country, a graduate at Savills will have exposure to a broad variety of aspects within the property industry during their two year graduate scheme. London Rotation The Savills Graduate Programme (London Rotation) typically includes 6 rotations lasting 4 months each. Graduates will rotate between different specialist departments across our London offices allowing them to gain a thorough understanding of the industry, market and Savills teams and clients, in preparation for the APC and becoming a real estate professional. We ask graduates before each rotation, their top 3 choices and then based on the competencies required, graduate’s preferences and team demand, we allocate graduates into teams. Commercial Rotations The commercial rotation may include rotations within teams in the following divisions: Business Space Central London & International Development European Investment Hotel, Leisure & Trading Housing Operational Capital Markets Professional Services Property Management Residential Retail Savills Investment Management UK Investment Valuation Development Rotations Development graduates will take the ‘Planning and Development’ pathway will include up to 8 months in planning, and may include rotations within teams in the following divisions: Development London Commercial Development Housing Operational Capital Markets Planning Residential Residential Development Sales Valuation Residential Rotations In addition to becoming RICS qualified the ‘Residential’ pathway will also allow you to become a registered valuer and will include rotations within a selection of the teams in some of the following divisions: Residential Development Housing Operational Capital Markets Residential Property Management Residential Auctions Residential Development Sales Valuation Estate Agency London Fixed Roles Please note that if you select London as a location choice, you will be considered for both the Rotation and fixed roles in the following teams: Hotels Retail Property Management Automotive Regions Please note that there are many different teams and locations available – these are linked below. In most cases, regional graduates are fixed in one team. In some cases, graduates may rotate around a variety of teams within the office to ensure sufficient experience is gained. In other offices there are structured rotation programmes, such as in Birmingham. Commercial roles include Birmingham Rotation – Various Teams Peterborough - Global Occupier Services Reading - Global Occupier Services Commercial graduates will have the opportunity to obtain experience in a range of specialisms to gain a thorough understanding of the industry, market and Savills teams and clients, which prepares them for APC and becoming a real estate professional. Development roles include Reading / Oxford Graduate Development surveyors in Reading and Oxford (South Central) will gain experience within the valuation and development land agency sides of the team to obtain a well-rounded APC experience, based in a busy regional multi-disciplinary office. Chelmsford Development graduates in regional teams will have the opportunity to obtain experience in a range of specialisms and will obtain the required experience for the APC from the Development role along with time spent working within relevant multi sector project teams.
