Accounts Assistant - Bredbury / Stockport Well-established business offering progression and development opportunities About Our Client We are looking for a detail-focused Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable Specialist to join an experienced finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. Job Description The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include: Processing purchase and sales invoices Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable Processing payments and maintaining accurate supplier and customer records Reconciling bank and control accounts Supporting month-end processes and reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and filing Assisting the wider finance team with general accounting and administrative duties The Successful Applicant A successful Accounts Assistant will have: Previous accounts payable experience - essential Knowledge of CIS and DRC VAT - highly desireable Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong organisational skills Excellent time-management skills Good written and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/ Business Central / NAV would be advantageous What's on Offer £28,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience Primarily office-based in Bredbury with Hybrid working available following successful completion of training/probation 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays Free on-site parking Company pension scheme Private medical cover A varied role with exposure to all areas of accounts A collaborative and supportive working environment The opportunity to develop your skills and become a key member of the finance team
