Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist / Front of House Administrator to join a busy and professional organisation in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, well-presented, and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a varied role combining reception and administration duties.

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front office while supporting the wider team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Meeting and welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner


• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls


• Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains tidy and organised.


• Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers


• Booking and preparing meeting rooms as required


• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems


• Assisting with filing, scanning, and document management


• Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels


• Supporting the wider team with general office administration tasks

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, or administrative role


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Professional and confident telephone manner


• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.


• Positive, proactive, and reliable approach to work


• Strong customer service focus and professional presentation
