Nanny

Full-time nanny wanted in Streatham Hill from January We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our son, who will be 8½ months old in January. This is a full-time position, five days a week, for a minimum of 10 hours per day. The salary is £15–£20 per hour, depending on experience. We live in a spacious four-bedroom house on a quiet road, with a large open-plan kitchen and a south-facing garden, as well as an additional sitting room/tv space. We are five minutes’ walk from Tooting Bec Common and Streatham High Road, and around 20 minutes’ walk from Balham. The nanny could have access to our car if needed although a car is not essential given we live close to shops / classes / the common etc. We would love to find someone affectionate, energetic and genuinely interested in supporting Ted’s development. The role will include: * Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities * Taking Ted to classes, playgroups and swimming * Spending time outdoors and making use of the common and our garden * Preparing his meals and supporting his feeding routine * Managing his naps and daily routine * Keeping his play and eating areas tidy * Taking care of his laundry and other child-related duties Please note we have two cats who spend most of their time outside - you would not be required to feed them. Previous professional experience caring for babies of a similar age is essential. Applicants must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS check, paediatric first-aid training and excellent references.
