Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days Salary: Band 3 £26,427 - £26,847 pro rata (actual £20,029 - £20,347) Contract: Permanent Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning? We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and who can create positive, trusting relationships that help every child feel valued and included. Working alongside class teachers and our SENCO, you will provide tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their academic, social and emotional skills. You will play an important role in encouraging independence, celebrating progress and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve and enjoy their time at school. Main Roles and Responsibilities Carry out planned learning activities as agreed with the teacher, adapting materials to suit the needs of the children where necessary Help ensure all children can access their learning materials and activities Monitor, record and assess the development of the children and discuss any concerns with the teacher Support the children's social and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable in the learning environment Why Join Us?
