If so, Thomas Bewick Primary School would love to hear from you! We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong, positive relationships with children and provide the encouragement and support they need to feel confident, included, and ready to learn. You will be an important part of each child’s journey, helping them to develop independence, recognise their strengths and celebrate their achievements. Most importantly, you will help create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and able to reach their potential. Main Roles and Responsibilities Carry out planned learning activities as agreed with the teacher, adapting materials to suit the needs of the children where necessary Help ensure all children can access their learning materials and activities Monitor, record and assess the development of the children and discuss any concerns with the teacher Support the children's social and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable in the learning environment Why Join Us?
