Rooted Recruitment Limited is supporting the recruitment of a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to work within a busy workplace environment. This part-time opportunity involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across factory areas, communal spaces, welfare facilities and training rooms.

Job Description

• Clean and maintain communal areas, restrooms, welfare facilities and training rooms to consistently high standards.
• Complete routine and deep-cleaning activities, including operating equipment such as steam cleaners and floor buffers.
• Empty bins, support waste segregation and recycling, and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as required.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices while helping maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Compensation

• Pay: £13.07 per hour.
• Working pattern: Part-time, two days per week Thursday and Friday.
• Hours: Flexible start time, finishing at 18:15 on Thursday and 17:15 on Friday.

Skills & Experience

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable, alongside a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and appropriate safe-working practices.
• Knowledge of COSHH, PPE, manual handling requirements and slip/trip prevention.
• Reliable and organised, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
