L3 Teaching Assistant

Position Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Profile: 1.3 Learning Support Permanent Weekly hours: 30 G02 SCP 05-08 £26,427-£27,709 Employment Start Date: 02.11.2026 The governors of St Mary's Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint one Level 3 teaching assistant to work alongside others and under the guidance of class teachers and the headteacher. Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive, encouraging manner are essential qualities. The successful candidates will play a key part in assisting in the delivery of an exciting curriculum for 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will: • Have experience of being a teaching assistant within a primary setting • Have worked with children with specific learning, physical and social needs. • Be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills • Have high expectations of pupil behaviour • Contribute to the ethos of a friendly, happy school, in which the personal development and well-being of the children is given the highest priority • Be supportive of our Catholic ethos, mission and values Candidates must complete the CES application form (not the Flintshire form) and read the Notes for Applicants.
