We re working with a growing and well-established consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Consultant to join their team in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fire professional looking for variety, responsibility and the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. The Role As a Fire Consultant, you ll provide specialist fire safety advice across a range of construction and development projects, working closely with clients, design teams, contractors and other consultants. Your responsibilities will include: Providing fire safety consultancy and technical advice across a variety of projects Reviewing architectural and construction proposals from a fire safety perspective Producing and reviewing fire strategies, assessments and technical reports Supporting clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders Ensuring projects meet relevant fire safety legislation, standards and guidance Attending site visits and project meetings where required Contributing to the continued development of the consultancy s fire safety services About You We re looking for someone with a solid background in fire consultancy within the construction industry, who is confident working independently and communicating with a range of project stakeholders. You ll ideally have: Previous experience working as a Fire Consultant / Fire Engineer within the construction sector Strong knowledge of fire safety principles, legislation and relevant standards Experience working across a range of construction projects Excellent report writing and communication skills The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines A professional and client-focused approach Relevant qualifications and professional membership are advantageous.
