The Opportunity Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team. This is a key position where you'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates from initial enquiry through to tender submission. Working closely with commercial, design, and operational teams, you'll help secure new projects while ensuring pricing is commercially robust and competitive. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of general building projects. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation. Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Produce Bills of Quantities, pricing schedules, and tender submissions. Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions. Support bid presentations and tender negotiations. Collaborate closely with commercial, project management, and design teams. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market rates, construction methods, and industry trends. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have: 3-8 years' experience in an estimating role within the construction or general building sector.
