School Cleaner Warmley Park School and College Contract: 10 hours per week, term time only. Set hours Monday to Friday, 3:54pm – 5:45pm. Salary: Hay 14 (£13.27 per hour) Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in maintaining high standards? Warmley Park School and College is looking to appoint a dedicated School Cleaner to join our friendly team. This is an important role within our school community, helping to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the school site to ensure our high standards are maintained. We are looking for someone who: Is punctual, dependable and trustworthy Has excellent attendance and takes pride in completing tasks to a high standard Can work independently with limited supervision and follow established cleaning routines Is flexible and willing to support the smooth running of the school Understands the importance of health and safety in the workplace About the role The post involves general cleaning duties across all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, offices and toilet facilities, helping to maintain a hygienic environment for teaching and learning. Applicants should be aware that this is a physically demanding role. Duties include regular standing, walking, bending, lifting and moving cleaning equipment and school furniture. The role may also occasionally involve dealing with unpleasant cleaning tasks, including cleaning bodily fluids. Previous cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. Why join us?
