Teaching Assistant Level 2 with personal care Salary: Actual starting salary is £22,079 per annum (Grade 3 Points 5-6 pro rata) Contract type: Permanent Hours: 32.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 training/inset days) Responsible to: Deputy Headteacher for SEND We are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support students with their day-to-day personal care needs while working alongside other professional staff to promote their independence skills. The successful candidate will also provide in-class support, assisting students in accessing the curriculum and acting as a practical assistant during lessons. The role includes supporting students in implementing their individual personal care programmes throughout the school day, including practical assistance with: Personal hygiene Toileting and continence support Eating and drinking Fullhurst Community College is an over-subscribed and multi-award-winning secondary school for 11-16-year-olds based across two impressive campuses in Braunstone, Leicestershire.
