SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant Level 3 Monday to Friday 8.30am - 15.30pm term time only (including inset days). Please note: The position may initially be based at Claremont Primary School in Henleaze, but will be relocating to Kingweston School on Napier Miles Road. • Are you passionate about working with SEND students? • Are you a team player? • Have you got TA experience in working with students with ASC, SLD and complex needs? We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our staff team at Claremont School. Claremont School works in a supportive multi-professional team approach, with the student at the center of everything we do. You will have a good sense of humour and plenty of energy to engage students. You will be committed to supporting students, in all areas, to be as independent as possible. Claremont School is a diverse specialist provision in the north-west of Bristol operating from two sites and catering for pupils with ASC and complex and severe learning difficulties. Our school caters for children and young people aged 3 - 19, many who are in the very early stages of communication. All have a severe learning difficulty; many have an autism spectrum condition alongside their learning need. You will have excellent professional development opportunities linked to Appraisal and CDP.
