We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an exceptional Deputy Director of Mathematics to assist the leading of the Mathematics faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the school at all Key Stages. The ideal candidate will: • Lead high-quality learning and teaching experiences. • Be inspirational with the ability to motivate learners and have high expectations of staff. • Monitor and evaluate the performance of all areas of the Mathematics AOLE • Have current and thorough knowledge of the KS4 and KS5 curriculum including familiarisation with the Curriculum for Wales (National Mission). Mathematics is a significant strength of Crickhowell High School, with academic outcomes consistently amongst the strongest in the school.
