Property Services Assistant

Your new company We are recruiting for an experienced Property Services Assistant to join a busy Property Services team within a well-established Housing Association in Glasgow.This is a varied role providing administrative and customer service support across reactive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, contractor management and statutory compliance. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors and internal colleagues, helping to ensure repairs and inspections are coordinated efficiently. Your new role Managing repair requests and raising works orders Coordinating repairs, inspections and contractor appointments Liaising with tenants, contractors and maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of works Monitoring progress of reactive, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes Supporting statutory compliance activities, including gas, electrical safety, asbestos and legionella programmes Maintaining property, compliance and asset management records Processing contractor invoices and monitoring repair completion Assisting with contractor performance monitoring and service improvement initiatives Supporting customer satisfaction surveys, complaints handling and service feedback processes Producing reports and performance information relating to repairs and maintenance service What you'll need to succeed Experience working within a property services, repairs, maintenance or social housing environment Knowledge of repairs processes and contractor management Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing/property management systems The ability to build effective relationships with tenants, contractors and colleagues What you'll get in return 3-month temporary contract Hybrid working arrangement Opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential housing m
